WHERE'S YOUR HEADACHE?

Sometimes kids can be so honest and straightforward it's funny. I saw a 5-year-old with a headache the other day and I asked her, "Where's your head ache?" I wanted to know if it was in the front, top, back, or sides of the head. The answer to this question would help me figure out what might be causing it.

The child looked at me kinda funny and answered, "Uh, in my head."

This was a brilliant answer. It was true and right to the point. The problem is, now the kid thinks I'm a total idiot. Hopefully the mom doesn't think so too.
