MAMA, DADA, BOB

As I was walking through the hallway at the office, a mom came out of a room with her 15-month-old. She told me her toddler had heard my voice and had pointed to the door and said, "Bob!"

She then went on to tell me that her daughter only knows three words so far - mama, dada, and Bob. There isn't even anyone in their family named Bob.

I was blown away. Out of all the important words in a toddler's life, like "ball, up, mine, no, and dog", this darling little girl chose "Bob" for her third word. It seems despite all the shots, poking, and prodding over the last year, she still likes me.

If only all toddlers were so happy to come into the office.

Dr. Bob
