The Sears Parenting Library's latest addition is an exploration of how nutrition affects the brains and behavior of youngsters. N.D.D., or Nutrition Deficit Disorder, as coined by Dr. Bill Sears, is based on the idea that if "you put junk food into a child's brain, you get back junk behavior and learning."
THE N.D.D. BOOK will be a must-have for all parents who want to help their children become healthier, happier, and better prepared to learn.

"PARENTAL NUDITY"
PARENTAL NUDITY
“My wife and I have different opinions regarding our 5-year-old son and exposure to parental nudity. Our master bedroom ends up being a place to congregate in the AM as we get ready for work and our son gets dressed for school. We certainly don’t prance around the house in our birthday suits, but there are the mornings when one of us is getting out of the shower and heading to the closet to get dressed. The exposure isn’t lengthy, we don’t want to create paranoia about our bodies, but then there has to be a point where the incidental exposure is not right. I’m sure that point varies from child to child based upon their maturity level, but what is the commonly accepted age to avoid this kind of exposure? Should this differ based upon the gender of the parent and the gender of the child?”
There is not a commonly accepted age to avoid exposure. Each child is different and, yes, it also depends on the gender. The fact that you’re thinking about this, means that it is probably time to be more discrete. It was around this age (5-ish) that we sensed the need to be a little more discrete with our kids. Now, I tend to avoid exposure to my 7 year-old boy, not for his sake, but to avoid him sharing his observations with random people at the mall, this can be quite embarrassing! “Hey, my dad has a _____ ______!”
