"BED WETTING"
BED WETTING
"I have a 4 1/2 year-old daughter who has been working on nighttime potty training for 2 years now. We have tried everything to get her to stop wetting her bed every night. She has decided to hide it from us because she is embarrassed when she does wet the bed. I'm tired of doing laundry every day. She doesn't get anything to drink after 7:00 pm and has to go potty before bed but she still wets the bed."

I’ll tell you how I am dealing with my 7-year-old on this: Pull-ups. Age 4.5 is still pretty young to expect dry nights. You can spend tons of energy and lose a lot of sleep doing the wake-ups and alarms in the middle of the night (as described in our bedwetting section), or you can just not worry about it and use a pull-up for next year or two. She will eventually out-grow this. Any one that has told you that she is too old to be wetting the bed, is wrong.
