Playtex Embrace

In my pediatric practice I am privileged to care for a very high percentage of breastfeeding mothers. For mothers who need to pump their milk, I try to keep up on the latest research and equipment to help them pump more comfortably and efficiently. I have found the new Playtex Embrace breast pump to be a useful addition to the many tools I use to help families succeed in long-term breastfeeding.

The Playtex Embrace is more comfortable than standard breast pumps. The soft cups allow women to feel more relaxed throughout the pumping session, which allows for better milk flow and more pumped milk for baby.

Learning to use a breast pump is not always an easy task. My patients have found the Playtex Embrace simple to learn and easy to master, which is crucial when helping new mothers overcome breastfeeding challenges.

Working mothers often are hard pressed to find time to pump. Maintaining a full supply of pumped breast milk, coordinating the milk bags, and feeding baby the pumped milk is definitely made easier with the Playtex Embrace system. I have found the Playtex system to be well organized and easy to use, which helps my patients enjoy a long-term breastfeeding relationship.

The mothers in my practice are very happy with this new pump, and I enthusiastically recommend it to my patients who use a breast pump.

What Mother's Say...

In the Sears Family Pediatric Practice we enjoy a very high percentage of breastfeeding mothers. For mothers who need to pump their milk, we try to keep up on the latest research and equipment to help them pump more comfortably and efficiently. Here’s what mothers in our practice have to say about the new Playtex Embrace breast pump:

“I REALLY like the soft cups feature. They are very comfortable and do not excessively pull out the nipple. This is an important feature because when I pump my breasts are very full and tender.”

“The variety of speeds and pressure is helpful and it is not loud.”

“The directions for the EMBRACE were clearly written and illustrated. I had no confusion and easily got the pump to work.”

“I give it a four and a half stars out of five!”

“It is quieter than other pumps.”

“The cups fit comfortably. They don’t leave suction marks on my skin like other pumps do.”

“I like the fact that I can select the speeds and intensities that feel most like my baby’s suck.”

“The organization of the pump, parts, and accessories are well designed. I especially like the ‘A,’ ‘B,’ and ‘C’ labels on the bags.”

“The bag is not heavy and the pump itself is easily accessible.”

“I really like the feature of the insulated milk storage bag, which holds four large containers and is very functional. The second bag carries the cups, flange, and other parts that need to be sterilized. This feature keeps everything organized, clean, and easy to find. It is much more organized than other pumps.”

“The way the cup and flange work, there is no way that breast milk can come back up into the tube, which is a good thing.”

Because the mothers in our practice are happy with this new pump, the lactation consultants in our pediatric practice enthusiastically recommend it to all our pumping moms.
