A serious ingestion hazard has established this recall for Be Amazing! Monster Science Growing Spiders. The soft colorful pieces can look like candy to young children and can be ingested easily. Danger occurs when these pieces expand within the child’s body and causes potential life threatening results. The ingested pieces do not show on an x-ray and need to be surgically removed. This item was sold at the following locations: Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores nationwide from August 2011 to August 2013, Target stores nationwide from September 2012 to November 2012, Spirit Halloween stores nationwide from August 2011 to November 2011 and from August 2012 to November 2012.
