Although there is a standard immunization schedule, the actual timing of the shots will vary from doctor to doctor. We suggest you ask your doctor for the schedule used at your office.
The shots that most doctors will give at this check up are:
- DTaP – Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis
- Polio
- Hib – for meningitis
- Prevnar – for another form of meningitis
- Hepatitis B
Some of these 5 shots can be combined, so the number of actual injections may be 3 or 4.
